Gaststatte Zur Post in Betzdorf

By far the most delicious restaurant in Betzdorf and the surrounding area. It is always a treat to eat here. Reviews of "raw meat etc." I can’t understand. Have eaten here many times and ALWAYS perfect :). Whether steak or schnitzel, everything to the point. There are also a handful of dishes for vegetarians, but the steak and schnitzel dishes are particularly recommended. Keep it up, we'd love to come back. Update: A selection of dishes can also be ordered for pick-up during Corona times. Also very tasty here. I can only recommend - supports the local gastronomy. Hopefully I would like to have a freshly tapped beer with my meal soon :)

The steaks are awesome. Also picked up great. I also particularly liked the salad sauce on the side salad.

This was my first time and never again .. Very unpublic service. Our food came after 40 minutes and half was missing. Until we got the rest, we were already done with the meal. I had a chicken breast without a side dish and salad, had to pay € 15.90 and my friends had steak with salad and side dishes and paid the same 😅 how does that work? In addition, the waiter took 3 € more from my friend. Unfortunately, we only noticed this later after we received the bill. Very outrageous 👎👎

If there were six stars, the restaurant “Zur Post” in Betzdorf would get it from me! Everything is just right here, the food, the ambience, the staff and the price-performance ratio. The schnitzel and steaks are on point and always very tasty, the portions more than tidy. Both the owner and the wait staff ensure an extremely pleasant and familiar atmosphere. The wine selection is also a real recommendation. There is nothing to complain about here, whenever we can we are very happy to go to the post office. You shouldn't have to give anything to obviously wrongly motivated and strange negative reviews here!

picked up food today in times of the Corona crisis. The food was very tasty. But the schnitzel "farmer type" was far too much. Guys, a schnitzel farmer style is the farmer type and not for the farmer who previously worked 150 hectares. How do you want to make money like that? Otherwise everything was great.

We went to the right part of the restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening and I have to say the food was excellent. Especially the rump steaks are fantastic. Unfortunately, the background noise for a restaurant was far too loud. Therefore, the next visit will definitely fall on a quieter day of the week.

Very very good food at fair prices. Cozy atmosphere and nice staff.
